This programme is designed for advanced-level kids aged 18 and under who compete nationally and want to take their surfing to the next level with high-performance coaching from TAOS.

INTRODUCTION

Our Elite Squad training will focus on competition training through pressure drills and heat simulation. While building out a progressive surfing approach with aerial training.

COACHING WILL INCLUDE

• Competition simulation and training

• Pressure drills

• Filmed surfing session with video analysis

• Identification and discussion of problem areas

• Instructions and training methods to correct your surfing technique

• Competition Drills

• Equipment advice

• A copy of all your footage from the squad programme

LEVEL 3 - 4 SURFERS

This programme is designed for advanced-level kids aged 18 and under who compete at a national level and is targeted to improve your competitive and progressive surfing.

WHAT TO BRING

For coaching sessions, please bring whatever you’d usually take for a surf.

• Surfboard with a good wax job

• Appropriate wetsuit for the weather

• Clothes to change into after your surf session for the video review

• Surf watch for drills

• Towel

• Sunscreen

• Drinking water

LOCATION

Each session will begin at Hart St beach reserve, Marine Parade in Mount Maunganui and will run from 5.15 pm – 6:45 pm.

If the surf is too big at Hart Steet, we’ll relocate to Main Beach, Mount Maunganui.
